Transferring Colleges and Universities
Achievers and Governors' Scholars
- These programs allow options for transferring to other eligible Washington
colleges and universities and continuing to receive scholarship funding.
Be sure to also have your FAFSA results sent to your new college and remember to
contact the financial aid office at your new college to see whatever additional
application materials they may need you to file. This will assure that
your scholarship funds get sent to your new college as early as possible.
To see a list of eligible Washington colleges and universities, go to
Achievers
or go to Governors'.
In addition, Achievers Scholars, who will have
official junior status, may request scholarship funding to attend eligible
out-of-state colleges and universities.
To initiate consideration of transferring your
scholarship to another eligible college, we will need you to provide the
following information to us in an email to: scholarshipservices@collegesuccessfoundation.org
- Name of college you want to transfer to along with
- What term do you hope to begin at the new college?
- Application status
- When you plan to graduate (month and year) from the new college
Be sure to also include:
- Your full name
- Name of your CSF Scholarship you are receiving
- Current college you now or last attended
- Your phone number, including area code
- Your current email address
- Anything else you think may be helpful
What can you expect next from CSF? Once
your new college sends CSF your financial aid award information, CSF will
determine the amount of your Achievers or Governors' Scholarship amount
and notify you of the amount. The scholarship at your new college will
be based upon your financial aid award there with the maximum awards based
on the type of college you will be attending.
Leadership 1000 Scholars - As most of these
scholarships are limited to attendance at a donor-approved college or
university, we recommend that you contact a CSF staff to discuss your
circumstances if you have an interest in transferring to another college.
For other questions: Please call 1-877-655-4097
and ask to speak with a Scholarship Services staff member.
